Job Summary: Performs routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Safely responds to, diagnoses, repairs, and resolves a variety of maintenance needs for production machinery and supports equipment and general facility essentials.

2. Troubleshoots situations and determines root cause of the problem and recommends best option for repair or modification.

3. Applies machine tool alignments to adjust equipment or instrumentation as needed to ensure accuracy.

4. Performs routine preventative maintenance on machinery including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts as required.

5. Ensures all safety features on all machinery are in working order and determines if lockout-tagout is needed.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.

2. Minimum of 1-year previous experience in facilities maintenance, construction or general manufacturing required.

3. Must be able to operate a forklift and aerial lifts.

4. Must have general computer knowledge.

5. Must be able to multi-task and complete assignments on time.

6. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet other physical requirements needed for the position.

7. Must be able to follow safety procedures at all times.

8. Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment.

9. Ability to communicate verbally in one-on-one situations with management and co-workers; listen to others without interrupting and get clarification when needed.

10. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.

11. Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.

12. Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted.

13. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines.

14. Welding Experience a plus.

The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-10:00pm.

Competitive pay based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time
